What is a Conscious Collaboration?
The source of the planet's healing lies in the choices we make every day. Where we spend each dollar is a vote towards or against efforts to protect our natural resources. As a conscious creative and surfer passionate about my playground, it is my privilege to promote ethical choices that don't sacrifice quality or aesthetic.
A Conscious Collaboration is my storytelling of partnerships within the surf, fashion, travel, and health + beauty industries with a social and environmental conscience. This platform is where the art and intention behind each brand as well as their business practices are made transparent for readers to exercise their educated purchase power.
I have always been incredibly conscious of my partnerships, but 2018 is the year I made a commitment to ethical brands only, supporting businesses who score a minimum of three points on my Conscious Collab Checklist.

Remember, if our dollar is our vote, and corporations are following our dollar (which they are), then purchase power is a form of activism. As ocean dwellers and seaside occupants, we can no longer afford to stand by and watch our sacred playgrounds be destroyed. We are out of time. Being a conscious consumer means we hold the power to support the development of new values in a fast-changing social climate. The economy is dictated by trends, and we decide the trends. It is our responsibility to make sustainability a permanent trend that drives those industry standards forward.
